Hubs are an organic gathering of faith leaders and activists, and faith-based non-profits, who are commited to the alleviation of global poverty. This hub begins with an animating group, or individual, who facilitates a meeting or luncheon to do the following:
- Evoke compassion for the extreme poor
- Facilitate interaction among people working for the poor on previously parallel trajectories
- Teach about the Millennium Development Goals, the extent of extreme poverty, the work being done, and the need for advocacy as well as charity etc.
- Share a vision, and facilitate on-going communication and action including these possibilities:
- Legislative: letter-writing campaigns, and visits with representatives and senators both locally and in Washington DC
- Collaboration: Coming together to learn about each other, share best practices, and discuss future cooperation

Hubs are forming throughout the U.S. for interfaith action on the Millennium Development Goals. Contact us below, or consider starting a hub in your area.
